POSITION SUMMARY
Incumbent is expected to join Enterprise Digital Solutions team and will be responsible for supporting a large portfolio of custom applications from across the business. The Enterprise Digital Solutions provides innovative solutions using modern technologies to support key business needs, and as part of this team, he/she will take part in a fast-paced work environment with tasks consisting of software development, incident resolution, documentation, and strategic technological or process improvements.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· This will be a technical position and the incumbent will have the responsibility of collaborating within a small team of developers to deliver end to end business solution which adheres to the business requirements
· 2+ years of hands-on IT development experience
· Work directly with the business users to understand business requirements, clarify ambiguities and devise appropriate solutions
· Design system specifications and interfaces for cross-platform interacting components
· Lead, mentor and guide junior technical staff and interns
· Organize and prepare work effectively to facilitate proactive resolution of problems
· Follow our processes to provide updates, details and documentation on the applications supported
· Seek and devise alternative courses of actions and solicit feedback for professional development
· Collaborate with other technical experts to discuss and decide the most plausible approach to business problem and devise the solution for the same
· Collaborating with our global team of business analysts and solution developers to develop and validate specified solutions
· Exploring new functionality to resolve user issues and enhance user productivity and experience
· Working with the software vendor’s support team to analyze and deploy vendor solutions to our problems
· Application or system level ownership. Supporting, maintaining and enhancing the application or system during the life cycle of the solution
· Providing on-call and urgent issue support as required
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
· Proficiency in design, development and deployment of applications based on CMS and Dot Net technology framework
· Strong programming background with the ability to architect end to end business solution of medium to high complexity
· High-level knowledge in the following is a must: Drupal, .NET MVC, PHP, CSS, Angular, jQuery, Gitlab, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, DevOps, Agile software development, automated testing, iOS/Android app development
· Ability to create detailed technical specification from the functional specification
· Proficiency in creating architecture level Object diagrams, Database design, Use-case diagrams with focus on User-centric design
· Experience with creating platform-independent web applications
· Exposure to mobile application development using any one of the mobile development platforms (iOS, Android, Windows)
