Responsibilities:
• Establish, maintain and optimize a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) toolchain to interconnect product development, quality assurance, manufacturing and usage;
• Interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to foster a holistic Engineering DevOps environment;
• Apply the best tools and technologies to ensure efficient and reliable software and product development;
• Act as internal business partner and consultant for the relevant software applications to functional departments and process owner;
• Transfer business needs into (semi-) automated, digital user experiences;
• Perform configuration management and scaling of CI/CD tools;
• Automate development workflows and lifecycle activities;
• Ensure sustainable, consistent and reliable data management between PLM, ALM and development toolchain (in Enovia, Delmia, Polarion, etc.);
• Monitor system performance, manage utilization and identify bottlenecks;
• Ensure system availability and resolve critical problems
• Test and validate new or modified software application functionalities;
• Provide end user support and coaching for software applications;
Educational and Experience Requirements:
• 2+ years work experience within a DevOps/Software Development environment
• Profound coding and scripting capabilities (Java Script, Python, MySQL, etc.)
• Good understanding of Automotive (software) development processes
• Oversight on end-to-end software, application and product lifecycle activities
• Understanding on technologies like ServiceNow for monitoring the logs or data during maintenance
• Hands on experience in building and operating cloud native applications on AWS, GCP or Azure
• Basic know-how of working with CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins, GitHub actions etc.
• Work experience in multinational and cross-functional teams;
• Structured, team and solution oriented working method;
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Technical University degree (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics, or similar).
