Mfg Inspector
This role will assist Aeronautical Accessories manufacturing by inspecting parts, assemblies, raw materials and finishes.
What you’ll be doing has a Mfg Inspector
- Inspect various aviation parts and assemblies under supervision, to include operation of various equipment and testing instruments as required.
- Working from blueprints, diagrams, engineering orders, etc., to verify compliance to design.
- Approve and reject manufacturing work based on required standards, and effectively communicate approval/rejection status and related details to manufacturing and engineering.
- Fully adhere to work instructions and other related policies, procedures and processes.
- Begins to understand basic blueprints and manufacturing drawings with assistance.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly convey information and instructions to team members and supervisors.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for identifying defects and ensuring compliance with design specifications, Precision in documenting inspection results and maintaining accurate records.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in manufacturing and engineering.
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to use basic measuring equipment such as scales, calipers, and tape measure
- Ability to complete required documentation under supervision
- Ability to perform entry level inspections in assigned area
What you need to be successful
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0-1 years of experience related to job duties
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
- CMM skills preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Capable of standing for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
- Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
- Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
- Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
