525 Lead Assembler
The Lead Assembler position is intended to leverage shop floor supervision through extensive knowledge, experience, and leadership abilities. The Lead Assembler acts as a liaison between the Supervisor and shop floor personnel to execute the supervisor's daily work plan. This is a direct charging position that reports to the Supervisor in charge of a given area. The Lead Assembler also assumes a leadership role for the assigned work area, be it a fixture, aircraft, or portion of a facility.
What you’ll be doing as a Lead Assembler Mechanic
- Executes supervisor’s work plan on a daily basis.
- Provides direction to work crew in the development of work assignments.
- Plans best work sequence.
- Works to resolve problems in an efficient and timely manner.
- Assists with technical instruction as needed.
- Completes paperwork according to written procedures/processes as required.
- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of Bell Helicopter’s department and plant policies and procedures.
- Works closely with Department Supervisor in the coordination of daily work which includes a continuous status update of aircraft/items that in work.
- Earn hours for operations as time permits considering time requirements as a Production Specialist.
- Collaborates with other personnel across divisions.

What you need to be successful
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
