POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Analyst is expected to join the Bell IT, Commercial Solutions team and will be responsible for supporting Salesforce. The BELL IT Team provides innovative solutions using modern technologies to support key business needs, and as part of this team, he/she will take part in a fast-paced work environment with tasks consisting of Salesforce administration and development, incident resolution, documentation, and strategic technological or process improvements to support the Bell Commercial Business.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on IT development experience
- Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings.
- Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, workflows, process builder, and other declarative tools.
- Design with data integration in mind between Salesforce and other systems.
- Perform data management tasks, including data imports, exports, and data cleansing.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and recommend improvements to the platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Experience with the following: Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, DevOps, Agile software development
- Ability to create detailed technical specification from the functional specification
- Familiarity with other programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
