· High school diploma or GED coupled with formal marine tubefitting training and/or experience.
- Five (5) plus years of progressively responsible tubefitting experience in a marine manufacturing environment.
- Proven or demonstrated high level of competence in the marine vehicle.
- Demonstrated exemplary characteristics in the areas of ethics, attendance and adherence to policies, procedures and rules.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously with and/or lead a diverse team.
- Proven proficiency in MS software specifically, Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Ability to work any shift assigned.
- Willingness and flexibility to work extended hours as needed to accomplish the task or work with little or no prior notification.
- Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to understand people-related issues, provide counsel and partner with HR and supervisors
